Voice Assistants on the Edge

To promote their A.I. platform through a digital campaign, SoundHound wanted the focus of the Campaign to be on how manufacturers and brands can utilize their Houndify platform to enable better customer interactions through the implementation of Houndify as a voice interface.

Voice Assistants on the Edge

Feature Image

When thinking about creating a feature image for a campaign, one first needs to find a concept that visually explains a central idea. The central idea for this feature image was to communicate how convenient the experience is for users when Houndify’s Edge technology is integrated into their favorite product’s and services.

Concept

To visually explain this concept, I wanted the image to focus on one person and how they use Edge, while also showcasing the flexibility and diversity in how Edge can be integrated into many of the products people use every day. To show that edge ties into all of the products being displayed in the image, I incorporated lines that connect to each and every product.

Color Palette

The chosen color palette for the “Edge” campaign was chosen with both the current brand colors and previously used campaign colors in mind. For this campaign, we wanted to focus on using blues, pinks, and purples to better individualize this campaigns identity from the previous one which used lots of reds, oranges and yellows.

Iconography

In addition to SoundHound’s existing library of icons, new icons were created for use in this campaign by using a structured grid system. This grid system helps to insure that every icon stays visually consistent throughout all aspects of SoundHound’s web pages.

Desktop Site

In collaboration with content writers, web developers and other designers, we composed a landing page for the “Edge” campaign. What we wanted to achieve with this landing page was to both educate our audience as well promote user registration for the gated webinar and guide.

Mobile Site

For the mobile version of the landing page, additional assets were created to provide the best experience for users viewing on mobile devices.

Social Assets

For paid and social ads, the campaign’s feature image and color palette was incorporated into each asset. These assets were created with the intention of showcasing essential information about the campaign, while also making sure the illustration is featured as best as possible in correlation with each asset size.
